Autumn and the first frosts – the beginning of the most demanding period
When the outside temperature begins to drop rapidly and the first frosts remind us of the approaching winter, the heating industry enters a period of intense activity. The heating season means not only increased demand for heat, but also challenges related to maintaining the stability and safety of the network.
Every parameter – from temperature to flow to pressure – is important for the reliability of the system. Even minor deviations can quickly translate into heat loss, equipment failure or a decline in customer comfort. That is why effective monitoring and the ability to respond quickly are crucial – they allow you to react before problems turn into serious failures.
In response to these challenges, we have developed a series of HeatSens devices that support operators in monitoring, analysing and optimising the operation of heating networks – from local nodes to distributed facilities throughout the network.
MT-156 is a programmable telemetry controller with CODESYS® support, which combines the functions of a PLC, data logger and protocol converter.
The device enables:
Practical application: MT-156 is ideal for use in heat distribution nodes, chambers and local switchboards, where the operator needs quick access to data and the ability to immediately adjust settings.
MT-570 is a module designed for the integration of devices and sensors in larger facilities, creating a central data hub.
Its features include:
Practical application: MT-570 centralises information from multiple measuring points, enables quick response to anomalies and supports operators’ decisions, while simplifying data integration throughout the facility.
MT-058 is a module designed to work in places where there is no permanent power source.
It features:
Practical application: MT-058 allows monitoring of hard-to-reach points in the transmission network and dispersed facilities without the need to build additional power infrastructure.
HeatSens modules work with the DataPortal platform, which enables:
This working environment allows operators to make decisions in real time and respond more quickly to irregularities.
Yes – HeatSens modules are designed to operate in a wide range of industrial conditions.
Up to 5 years as standard, with an optional battery lasting up to 10 years. The extension of the operating time depends on the measurement and data transmission interval.
The MT-156 and MT-570 support Dual-SIM, which allows automatic switching to a second operator. All modules have non-volatile memory, which allows measurements to be stored even during transmission problems.
Yes – all HeatSens models feature remote configuration and updating, which reduces the need for service visits.
The modules communicate using the manufacturer’s UDP-based protocol, and we have developed a free MT Data Provider driver to support it, enabling quick and easy connection to popular SCADA systems. In addition, the MT-156 HMI and MT-570 support Modbus TCP, allowing integration with master systems using this standard.
