EX-D16 – is a binary input/output expansion module, designed for modern industrial automation and telemetry systems. The device provides 8 binary inputs and 8 binary outputs with the option of selective configuration as inputs, allowing for flexible adaptation of the module to the needs of the application. The power supply for the inputs and outputs is shared with the module’s power supply, which simplifies installation and integration.

The EX-D16 supports the standard Modbus RTU and Modbus TCP communication protocols, ensuring full compatibility with control and monitoring systems.

Thanks to its 10Base-T/100Base-TX Ethernet and RS-485 ports with galvanic isolation, the module can be easily integrated with central control units. In addition, it allows remote configuration and software updates via Ethernet, and locally via Ethernet or USB-C port.

The compact design of the industrial housing and DIN rail mounting make the module ideal for control cabinets, even in confined spaces. Detachable screw terminal blocks facilitate cable connection, and diagnostic LEDs indicate the module’s operating status, input status and communication activity.
