Industry standard – from 31 March 2026 only CODESYS® programming in MT controllers
As of 31 March 2026, the MT series telemetry controller offering will include only CODESYS® programmable devices (MT-121, MT-221, MT-151 HMI/LED, MT-156 HMI). This is a strategic step, in line with the company’s long-term vision, to simplify implementation processes and respond to growing market needs. At the same time, Users will be covered by a transition period and support, enabling a smooth migration without loss of business continuity.

What is changing - and what is not?
- legacy controllers operating with 4G technology remain fully functional – there is no need to replace them in existing installations,
- we provide firmware updates, for min. 3 years from the announcement of a product recall, which will be related to improvements in security, stability and reliability, performance optimisation and adaptation to new standards and regulatory requirements,
- the CODESYS® licence fee is not charged separately – it is included in the price of the equipment,
- device configuration (communication, port configuration and I/O resources) remains implemented by MTManager – as before.

Which Inventia devices support CODESYS®?
Inventia has introduced CODESYS® programming on the following models:
- MT-121 – a worthy successor to the MT-101 which has been in operation for 3 decades, retained chassis size but greater performance and capabilities
- MT-221 – communication gateway, successor of the MT-202 model
- MT-151 HMI (CODESYS®) – richer I/O resources than MT-121, additionally equipped with a local text HMI display
- MT-151 LED (CODESYS®) – less expensive alternative to MT-151 HMI (CODESYS®)
- MT-156 HMI (CODESYS®) – solution with M-Bus interface and PT1000 channels
The indicated devices in the new version together form a group of Compact Modules with CODESYS® support.

- a transition period until 31 March 2026, when both types of drivers will be supported,
- free technical support, consultation and migration assistance,
- preferential training for companies starting to work with CODESYS®
- sample programs written in different languages enriched with comments, e.g. alternating operation of two pumps implemented by MT-121.

Will the existing programmable controllers in the standard environment provided by Inventia stop working?
No. They will continue to be fully functional.
Will the firmware be updated?
Yes – for 3 years from the announcement of the withdrawal, we will provide updates related to safety, stability and reliability, performance optimisation and adaptation to new standards and regulatory requirements.
Do I have to pay separately for CODESYS®?
No. The licence fee is already included in the price of the device.
I am not familiar with CODESYS®. What to do?

Can I upgrade my device to CODESYS® via a software update?
This is not possible.
Can I test CODESYS® before purchasing a controller?
Yes – the software is available to download free of charge together with the necessary device description files on bok.inventia.pl/en, after logging in. With these, you can build and test the PLC program without a physical controller.
