In wind energy, hub bearing failures are one of the most common and costly operational problems. They lead to prolonged downtime, high service costs and loss of energy production. There was a need to create a solution that would enable early detection of damage and more effective maintenance planning (so-called predictive maintenance).
At the request of a German partner from the renewable energy industry, we developed and manufactured a specialised wind turbine bearing monitoring system in the OEM model.
