Imagine ordering a telemetry device, inserting a SIM card into it, and then logging into your DataPortal account. All you need to do is enter the serial number and IMEI for the module to be recognised by the system. From that moment on, you have remote access to measurements from your facilities, and you can create visualisations and set alarms.

You don’t need to be an IT specialist or an automation engineer with years of experience. Thanks to the intuitive interface, you can create your first visualisation in just one day. In Designer, you can use ready-made graphics or design your own data display screen – e.g. a pumping station diagram, water consumption chart or PV installation operation diagram.

Although DataPortal has been designed to be quick and easy to get started with, no one is left on their own. If the situation requires additional help, you can count on technical support from Inventia’s specialists. Training, documentation and educational materials are also available to guide you step by step through the system configuration. This ensures that even the most demanding project will be a success.

Getting started is really easy and does not require advanced knowledge:

1.  Purchase an Inventia telemetry device – if you do not already have one, you can order it directly from Inventia or from an authorised Partner.

2. Prepare a SIM card – the module requires active data transmission. Importantly, transmission can be carried out using SIM cards from Inventia’s offer with Orange, PLUS and T-Mobile operators, but this is not a requirement. DataPortal also works with “foreign” SIM cards and receives data sent from the Internet.

3. Create a free account on DataPortal – go to dataportal.online

4. Add a device– enter the serial number and IMEI to link it to your account.

5. Build your first visualisation – in Designer, you can create a screen to display data. You can start with ready-made graphics or build your own design from scratch.

6. Configure notifications – set alarms and select SMS/email notifications to stay up to date.

At this stage, you already have a working monitoring and visualisation system. And if you want, you can further develop it with additional objects and reports.

One of our clients was a water supply company managing several sewage pumping stations scattered across a large area. Until now, operators had to travel to the facilities to check the operating parameters of the pumps or the level of sewage in the tank.
