aimed at improving the ICT security of critical areas of the European Community economy, we would like to inform you that Inventia Sp. z o.o. started some time ago the process of adapting its products to the requirements of the above-mentioned directives. Additional mechanisms will be implemented to enhance the ICT security of products present in our offer, including MT and MTX series. New versions of firmware will be gradually made available to you in order to allow you to carry out the process of updating your devices and adjust their functionality to the upcoming changes. We take this opportunity to encourage you to regularly check for the availability of new firmware versions, test and update them, as improving the safety, reliability and functionality of our products is a standard process that has been with us continuously for many years, regardless of the regulations implemented.

At the same time, we would like to inform you that we currently have no plans to adapt to the requirements of the directives the products that have been withdrawn from Inventia’s offer, as in most cases, these devices support the 2G and 3G technologies, which are now being phased out.

As of today, it is not yet known what final shape the national regulations will take (required to be implemented by 17.10.2024) and what recommendations will be issued by the European Union Cyber Security Agency (ENISA), but our team of experts is keeping a close eye on the issue. Understanding the uncertainty of the upcoming changes and the challenges and concerns associated with them, we assure you that we are doing our best to ensure that Inventia’s products meet the upcoming requirements of the directives and that you will invariably be able to safely execute your business processes using them.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us by email at: bok@inventia.pl.
