EX-A8 – 8-channel analogue input module

Functionality and application

The EX-A8 module enables the simultaneous measurement of eight current signals in the 4–20 mA standard, commonly used in industry for transmitting signals from sensors (e.g. temperature, pressure, level or flow).

The measurement inputs are referenced to the negative power supply terminal and equipped with protection against incorrect connection. This makes the module suitable for environments with an increased risk of interference and installation errors.

Communication takes place via an RS-485 interface using the Modbus RTU protocol, ensuring broad compatibility with industrial automation devices.
