MTX-2050 v4 – 2G/LTE communication gateway with an Ethernet port

The MTX-2050 v4 is an advanced industrial communication and telemetry gateway designed for wireless data transmission over 2G/LTE networks and communication with external devices via Ethernet, RS-232, RS-485, M-Bus and optional wM-Bus interfaces. Thanks to the built-in WebGUI, users can configure the device, perform diagnostics and visualize data, while support for Modbus RTU/TCP, UDP, MQTT and SNMP protocols enables easy integration with automation, SCADA, IoT and Smart Metering systems.

The module can operate as both a Modbus Master and Slave, cyclically polling external devices, analysing state changes and alarms, and executing local event-based logic. Protocol conversion, Modbus routing, resource mapping and Multimaster functionality allow multiple devices to be integrated within a single communication platform. The built-in data logger with support for microSD/SDHC/SDXC cards up to 256 GB enables local storage of data and events with timestamps.

Dual-SIM technology enables operation with two independent cellular networks, increasing transmission reliability and redundancy. Version v4 has also been extended with support for M-Bus and optional wM-Bus, allowing direct integration with electricity, heat, water and gas meters.
